Biltmore Fashion Park and Scottsdale Fashion Square offer a variety of restaurants as well as high-end shopping. Bargain hunters will love the outlet malls. In the north valley be sure to visit the Outlets at Anthem. In the east valley make a point to visit Arizona Mills for a variety of family oriented restaurants and great stores. The west valley offers Wigwam Outlet Mall. For those who enjoy antiquing, add historic Old Towne Glendale to your itinerary.
Enjoy the great outdoors? You have hit the jackpot! There are numerous outdoor activity areas throughout the valley for every activity level that also offer phenomenal views. Great hiking spots include Pinnacle Peak Park in North Scottsdale as well as Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley. Piestewa Peak (formerly known as Squaw Peak) and South Mountain also offer hikes that make you think you are “away from it all” when you are actually well within the city limits. There are also many public rock climbing areas for experienced climbers. Arizona ’s crown jewel, the Grand Canyon, is a short 4 hour drive away.
