The Colorado Mountain ranges are separated by high valleys and basins sometimes called parks, because of the grassy vegetation. These include North Park, Middle Park, South Park, Estes Park, and San Luis Park.
The Continental Divide runs north to South through the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Colorado is truly one of the most scenic states in the country. Colorado's most famous recreational park is Rocky Mountain National Park.
